Several Lions had strong races on the day, led by Tanatswa Gawe in the 400-hurdles. He crossed the line at 55.14, the 31st-fastest time in the country this season.
Stuart Gruters and Gabriel Calandri ran one-two in the 3,000-steeplechase with times of 10:08.89 and 10:26.98. William Mayhew and Mark Koerner had another one-two finish in the 1,500-meters. The pair crossed the line at 4:03.87 and 4:04.47.
Daniel Pflueger and James Blair finished one-two in the 110-hurdles, stopping the clock at 15.23 and 15.71. Roman Rychkov won the 400-meters with a time 49.25. Sean Burtnett and Fabian Mestanza gave the Lions another one-two finish in the 800-meters with times of 1:57.01 and 1:57.19.
In the 100-meters, Tyler Scott ran 11.21 for fourth. Scott followed with a run of 22.55 in the 200-meters for second.
The Lions 4x100-relay team posted a winning time of 42.53. The 4x400-relay team finished second with a time of 3:22.53.
In the field, Jaiden Elliott leapt 13.98 meters in the tripe jump for second place.
The Lions return to action at the NJAC Championships, which begin with the multi events on Wednesday, which will be hosted by TCNJ.
