A total of 43 Nevada Wolf Pack athletes applied for graduation last weekend as part of the ceremonies for the 131st commencement that were held at Mackay Stadium. The spring 2021 commencement was held with in-person with virtual options on May 13, 14, and 15.
“This year’s commencement marked the end of an unprecedented year faced by our university, and I was thrilled to see our Wolf Pack Family having the opportunity to graduate in person at Mackay Stadium,” Nevada athletic director Doug Knuth said in a news release. “To be able to share this momentous occasion in-person with family and friends was a due reward for their perseverance and dedication through the challenges this academic year presented.
“I also want to recognize the incredible work of our faculty, deans and university leadership throughout the year. These important people are committed to student success at all levels of the University and this manifests in the ultimate goal of graduation. We are thankful for their incredible support of Wolf Pack athletics.”
