A graphic video circulating on messaging platforms of a man hanging from the railing of a stairwell did not happen in Singapore, the police have clarified in a Facebook post.
The public is advised not to spread untruths and circulate the video, thereby causing alarm.
Caption accompany video claimed incident happened at Tuas
In the video, a man wearing a red polo tee and jeans can be seen hanging from the railings of a staircase.
Another man is also visible in the video filming the scene with his phone.
A caption accompanying the circulating video claimed that the incident happened on the morning of Apr. 28 at a dormitory in Tuas due to "no work no money."
