A warm last day of summer - Minnesota Public Radio News

tampilansberita.blogspot.com

The last full day of summer stays very mild, with mostly sunny and breezy conditions.

Monday’s forecast

Thanks to southerly winds overnight, Monday is starting off warm for this time of year. Lows in the 50s and 60s are ranging from to about 5 degrees above average in southern Minnesota to over 20 degrees above average in the northwestern corner of the state.

Afternoon highs also remain warm, with 70s and a few 80s.

Monday high temperatures

National Weather Service

Although not as windy as Sunday, it remains breezy Monday, particularly across the northern edge of the state.

Most places can expect predominantly sunny skies, but southern and central Minnesota will see a mix of clouds along with a very isolated chance for a light shower or storm. No significant precipitation is expected.

The rest of the week stays mild and precipitation remains limited.  That extended forecast will be updated around 9 a.m.
