The Last Dance is hoping these are the last schedule tweaks for Tuesday’s North, South Rounds of 16.
In the latest shuffle, the two games scheduled for Barnegat High School have been split among Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton and FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood.
The Middletown North-Middletown South game has been moved to Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. in Lakewood. The Jackson Memorial-Middlesex has been moved to Arm & Hammer Park at 3:30 p.m.
Tournament officials also announced Saturday the Notre Dame-Hamilton West game scheduled for Tuesday, 7 p.m., in Trenton is already a complete sellout. No tickets will be sold.
Fans should expected seating limitations at all minor league facilities.
With seating limited to 450 fans to maintain social distancing requirement. For the reason, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time online for games at Arm & Hammer Park, First Energy Park, TD Bank Ballpark.
RULES UPDATE: LDWS officials remind fans, coaches and players of rule changes starting with Tuesday games and continuing through the July 31 championship game. Free defensive substitutions and a 10-hitter batting order have been eliminated. High School rules will be enforced.
There will still be no pitching limitations. While there was some concern over the number of pitches thrown in some pool play games, the LDWS committee will leave it up to team managers and the pitchers themselves to decide how long a pitcher should throw.
