HOLBROOK — Chief William Smith would like to notify residents and commuters that roadwork will continue on Route 139/Union Street this week, and road closures will occur Tuesday and Wednesday.
Route 139/Union Street will be closed and traffic will be detoured on Tuesday, Aug. 9 and Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day for grinding and paving work.
Local business traffic will be allowed.
All westerly traffic will be detoured to South Franklin Street and then to South Street. All easterly traffic will be detoured from Randolph up South Street to South Franklin Street. Officers will be directing traffic in Holbrook and Randolph during the detour hours.
Holbrook Police would like to thank drivers in advance for their cooperation and understanding.
