R.I.S.E. Advocacy, Inc. of Isabella, Clare, and Gratiot Counties is hosting their 2nd Annual RISE and Shine Community Breakfast Fundraiser.
R.I.S.E. Advocacy’s mission is to provide safety and empowerment to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to work to eliminate sexual victimization and intimate partner violence through shelter, treatment, education, and social change.
The goal of the RISE and Shine Community Breakfast Annual Fundraiser is to bring together individuals and groups from Clare, Gratiot, and Isabella counties around a shared meal and conversation, all while supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The event will occur on Saturday, August 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Island Park’s South Pavilion in Mount Pleasant. Family-friendly games and music are available to all who attend.
The breakfast menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes from Chris Cakes, a coffee bar from Highland Blush Café, and cinnamon rolls from Hearthstone Oven.
In addition to this breakfast, four raffle baskets will be up for grabs, including: Taste of Clare, Taste of Gratiot,
Taste of Isabella, and Taste of RISE Service Area. Each raffle basket is valued at over $300 and contains some of the best items this community has to offer, like hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, golf passes, and more.
Breakfast tickets are $10 per person and raffle tickets are $5 per ticket. Tickets are available for purchase at www.riseadvocacy.org and in person on the day of the event.
