More intermittent full closures of I-96 in West Michigan are planned for Wednesday night and early Thursday.
The closures in Ottawa and Muskegon counties starting at 7 p.m. July 20 are for sign work, according to a notice from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Full closures lasting 15 minutes at a time will occur on eastbound I-96 at Apple Drive near Nunica, and on westbound I-96 at Sternberg Road in Fruitport Township.
Intermittent closures will occur between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 21.
Similar overnight closures were scheduled for Monday, July 17, and Tuesday, July 18.
Fifteen-minute closures of westbound I-96 at Sternberg Road and eastbound I-96 at Apple Avenue will occur between 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 21.
