Several buildings north of the UC Berkeley campus lost power beginning Sunday morning.
PG&E assigned a crew to assess the outages starting from around 6:56 a.m. to 7:55 a.m., according to the PG&E website. The estimated restoration time for affected customers ranges from approximately 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The outages were due to a wire down at Acton Street and Delaware Street, according to PG&E spokesperson J.D. Guidi.
At the start of the outage, there were 6,012 customers affected, Guidi added. Currently, there are nine remaining customers residing on Acton Street that are still experiencing a power outage.
The cause of the outage is currently under investigation.
