MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Continued work on Seminole Road in Norton Shores will cause water service disruptions beginning Thursday.
Water users on Seminole between Henry Street and Seaway Drive could experience short-term outages between 10 p.m. July 8 and 8 a.m. Friday, July 9, according to an advisory from the city of Norton Shores.
Construction crews will be making multiple connections to a new water main.
Eastbound Seminole between Henry and Park streets has been closed for several months for construction.
The work involves road reconstruction, storm sewer, sanitary sewer repairs, water main, traffic loop detectors, concrete curb and gutters, concrete sidewalks with ramps and decorative lighting.
Next summer, plans are to reconstruct Seminole from Park Street to Seaway Drive.
