Art Reach of Mid Michigan and Mountain Town are hosting their annual Brunch in the Garden fundraiser.
The brunch is expected to take place on Sunday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the garden at Mountain Town, 506 W. Broadway Street.
Tickets are $25 for adults (13 and older), $10 for kids (3-12 years old), and mimosa tickets are available for $6 ($7 the day of the event). Funds raised from the event are used for programming.
The menu includes sliced fruit platter, scramble eggs, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, assorted deli sandwiches on croissants, and assorted cookies.
Final bidding for the Art Flair 2021 event will also be taking place during the brunch.
“Art Flair is an exhibition of artist-embellished furniture pieces, including Adirondack chairs, benches, and more displayed at businesses in downtown Mount Pleasant,” Jeffrey Silvernail, marketing coordinator for Art Reach, said. “Local businesses sponsor and host individual pieces from June 28 to July 16 with final bidding taking place Sunday, July 18 at Mountain Town Station.”
Bidding and voting on pieces has previously taken place on the Art Reach Facebook page.
“Tickets to the brunch are NOT necessary to bid on Art Flair pieces. Art Flair 2021 features 30 pieces of embellished furniture (new and refurbished),” Silvernail said. “Each piece is auctioned off as a fundraiser to benefit Art Reach children’s programs and class scholarships. Each year, we net over $5,000 to put toward these programs.”
