The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office took to Twitter to warn the public that power is out in the entire Roaring Fork Valley, which has resulted in traffic lights shutting off. As Holy Cross Energy works to restore power to the area, thousands are being impacted.
A map on the Holy Cross Energy website shows that 21,497 consumers are out of power, as of 10:24 AM. The Holy Cross Energy website also mentions that outages are not due to fires in the area.
