NUTLEY, NJ - The deadline to register for the 2020 General Election is Tue. Oct, 13, 2020. The Township of Nutley Office of the Municipal Clerk will hold late hours that day for those registering to vote at the last minute.
Individuals not already registered to vote you can do so easily online at www.elections.nj.gov. and open the tab labeled 'Register to Vote' to complete the short application. Residents can also register in person at the Municipal Clerk's Office in Township Hall on Kennedy Drive during normal business hours.
Citizens who want to confirm their registration can check their registration status on www.elections.nj.gov and open the tab labeled 'Find Out if you are Registered.' You can also confirm your signature on file.
On the last day of registration, the Municipal Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:00A.M. To 9:00 P.M on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 for late night voter registration. This is the last day to register or complete a voter transfer.

The race for the Oval Office is getting most of the attention in this election, but there are also races for NJ's representation in the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.
Locally, Nutley residents will be voting for three seats on the Board of Education.
There are also ballot questions at the state level.
