TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain will fall in entire Jakarta areas, except the Thousand Island (Kepulauan Seribu), the intensity ranging from light rain to rain accompanied by lightning.
As quoted from the BMKG official website, in the morning, the weather in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta and North Jakarta predicted to be cloudy, while local rain will occur in the Thousand Island.
In the daylight, the North Jakarta will be poured by light rain, while West Jakarta predicted to have moderate rain.
Heavy rain accompanied by lightning predicted to occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Central Jakarta will only experience local rain meanwhile the weather in Thousand Island is going to be cloudy.
The BMKG also issued an early weather warning for South Jakarta and East Jakarta. "Be aware of potential raining accompanied by lightning and strong winds with short duration in South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening."
Towards night until dawn, the BMKG predicts that the weather in entire Jakarta areas will be bright and cloudy, only the Thousand Islands will experience local rain on Friday morning.
