A manhunt is on for a North Carolina man last spotted on Wednesday in the Garberville area.
Samantha Karges, a spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, said he is accused of stalking and criminal threats.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Jason Allen Spillars. Spillars is wanted on a nationwide extradition warrant out of North Carolina. He was last seen in the Garberville area on Oct. 6, 2021. Spillars is believed to be dangerous and may be armed. Anyone who sees Spillars should contact law enforcement immediately.
Associated Vehicle: White 2004 Toyota Sienna, North Carolina License Plate # FDF7655
Suspect Description: White male adult, age 33, 180 pounds, 6 feet 2 inches tall, brown hair, and brown eyes.
