By Aaron Humes: Separate reports from our sources confirm there were two traffic incidents involving Belize Defence Force (BDF) soldiers tonight.
The first took place earlier in the Corozal District. We understand that one BDF soldier is dead and four other persons are injured.
The second mishap took place further south near mile 13 on the Philip Goldson Highway, not far from BDF headquarters at Price Barracks, Ladyville.
We have confirmed several injured in that incident including BDF personnel preparing to go on shift in Hattieville.
Names are confirmed but we will withhold pending notification of their families.
We will continue to follow these developments.
