Report: NBA's season suspension could last much longer - NBCSports.com

Steph Curry is facing the same isolation as Warriors fans, and most people around the country and the world.

Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the Warriors superstar has been forced to stay in his home, and on Sunday, he posted a 57-second video to his Twitter and Instagram accounts encouraging all citizens to practice social distancing.

"What's up everybody? I know this time is pretty hectic and crazy and there's a lot of uncertainty out there. But just wanted to take the time to encourage everybody to practice social distancing to the best of their abilities. I know people are in a lot of different situations and a lot of demands, from person to person, but as best we can, practice social distancing so we can get rid of the spread of this virus as soon as possible. Flatten the curve, make sure you stay six feet away from people, wash your hands when you're going inside, going outside as much as you can, [use] water and soap and we can all come together collectively to stop the spread of this virus.

"So, everybody do their part. I'm doing mine. Me and my family are at home, really enjoying family time. But as best you, social distance yourself and we can flatten the curve and get rid of this virus as soon as possible. Appreciate it. Stop the spread. Let's do it."

Curry, the Warriors and the rest of the NBA are waiting out the league's suspension, which is expected to last at least 30 days, and possibly longer.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr has been calling for social distancing for the last few days, and he agreed with the message Curry was offering.

Three NBA players -- Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Christian Wood -- have tested positive for the coronavirus since last Wednesday.

Luckily for Curry and the Warriors, he was diagnosed with the seasonal flu last weekend. But as coach Steve Kerr told NBC Sports Bay Area's Logan Murdock on Saturday, there was a moment where the team was concerned that Curry had contracted the coronavirus.

We all miss sports right now, and miss watching Curry on the court, but the best thing to do is to listen to his request.
